Your Story

Born and brought up in the small town of Yavatmal, Maharashtra, I moved to different places for schooling and stayed in boarding schools from early on in my life. My passion for finance drove me to pursue Chartered Accountancy.

How I got into investment banking?

After the first 2 years in EY (risk advisory services), the work felt unfulfilling – I didn’t see a major tangible impact. With a consulting background and drawn by the idea of working closely with businesses and creating lasting impact, I started to look out for careers in Investment Banking.

What keeps me up at night?

As the saying goes “ to sleep the sleep of righteous”, what keeps me up at night is the thought if I am being righteous to myself and the people I am working with and of their expectations of me.

My inspirations

Jeff Bezos – for his bold vision and his ability to disrupt entire industries. Particularly the way he transformed the retail landscape with Amazon.

My focus/interest

Early and growth stage tech-enabled companies in consumer, healthcare, logistics, SaaS.

What excites me?

Being part of large tangible outcomes in the ever innovative industry.

Best piece of advice given to me

“What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger”.

My advice to entrepreneurs

Stay focused on your vision and remain persistent in pursuing your goals. Also, cash flow and unit economics are all that matter in the end.

What IndigoEdge is to me?

IndigoEdge is unlike any other organisation where people genuinely care and look out for each other. You can reach out to anyone in the organisation and discuss anything from work to life. It’s like a second family to me.

Cooling off

I love biking, travelling, and sports.
