My story

Born in Kerala and raised in Bangalore, I like to call myself a true Bangalore Malayali. Growing up here, I naturally got pulled into the start-up scene and worked with a couple of early-stage ventures, though they didn’t last long. After engineering at NIT Surathkal, I shifted gears into consulting with ZS. An MBA from XLRI felt like the next step to break into the big leagues. But as it turns out, life brought me back to Bangalore, working with start-ups again.

How I got into investment banking

Funny enough, I never set out to pursue Investment Banking - in fact, I didn’t even know what IB really was. My focus was entirely on Consulting roles in B-School. But when IndigoEdge came to campus hiring for summer interns, I figured it was my one shot to get a feel for banking. I gave it everything I had, and I’ve never looked back since.

What keeps me up at night

Start-up ideas, that are sometimes borderline illegal.

My advice to entrepreneurs

We miss 100% of the shots we don't take.

My inspirations

My father, who taught me discipline and integrity. Rahul Dravid and AB de Villiers, who showed me what it is to be grounded, yet dependable.

What excites me

The journey to build enough credibility that I can influence decisions without authority.

Best piece of advice given to me

"Seek joy in the process rather than the outcome."

What IndigoEdge is to me

I don't want to sound cliched and say Family. I think it is a sports team - a high performance sports team.

My key focus and interests

Start-ups that don't just chase market gaps but solve for high-impact systemic issues, creating value for the world.

What I enjoy doing in my free time

Working out, sports and movies, or mindlessly scrolling subreddits.
