My story
Born and raised in a small town in Rajasthan, I left home for higher studies when I was 12. Finished high school in the beautiful city of Udaipur and decided to pursue Chartered Accountancy. Moved to Mumbai in 2018, experimented with short stints across audit and tax during my articleship and decided to pursue a career in finance.
How I got into investment banking
Discovered the start-up ecosystem in 11th standard (2014) when Flipkart was the hottest thing in town. Since then, I always wanted to do something that was start-up facing. Stumbled upon investment banking post my CA and have loved it ever since.
What keeps me up at night
Nothing at all—I fall asleep within five minutes, even during the day!
My advice to entrepreneurs
When it comes to fundraising, the best time to raise capital is when you don’t need it.
My inspirations
My parents and my grandfather - by their resilience and grace in facing life’s adversities.
What excites me
Exploring new businesses, especially those that redefine consumer behaviours—or make people lazier!
