My story
I stumbled into finance through a college elective and ended up liking it more than I expected. In MBA, somehow both my first Summer Internship Interviews were in IB - so I took the hint. One thing led to another, and here I am, still figuring it out and enjoying the ride.
How I got into investment banking
I was drawn to investment banking because I’ve always been curious about how businesses take shape—from an idea to something real. Watching Shark Tank US as a teenager sparked that interest (though the first time I thought of watching this I thought it would be a show on aquatic animals, lol). I loved seeing new ideas come to life and understanding what made them work. This role gives me a front-row seat to that process.
What keeps me up at night
Music usually keeps me up at night— when it's all quiet. And when it’s not that, it’s a movie or show I got too curious about to pause. Nights feel like the best time to switch off and tune in.
My advice to entrepreneurs
I’m still new to the game, so I try to learn more than I speak. But if there’s one thing I’ve picked up, it’s that staying patient and adaptable can make a big difference, especially when things don’t go as planned.
My inspirations
I draw a lot of inspiration from my mother - someone who made sure I had opportunities she didn't, and shaped the way I look at effort, resilience and opportunities.
What excites me
I’m most excited by the chance to work closely with founders and get a window into how they think, take risks, and make decisions. It’s a constant learning experience to unpack a business from all angles—what drives it, where it struggles, and what makes it tick.
Best piece of advice given to me
What IndigoEdge is to me
For me, IndigoEdge has been a space to learn, take on real responsibility early, and work closely with sharp, driven people.
My key focus and interests
I’m exploring different sectors with a growing interest in SaaS and consumer, and enjoy understanding how businesses are built and scaled.
What I enjoy doing in my free time
I enjoy traveling whenever I get the chance. There’s something refreshing about exploring new places and just being on the move. I also like listening to music, especially when I need to unwind. Lately, I’ve been spending some time painting, nothing too serious, but it’s a nice way to switch off and get creative.
