My story

Born in a military household, I had the chance to grow up in different parts of the country, have a new set of peers to learn from every 2-3 years, and first-hand witness the stark differences in life from one city to another. Even today, my fondness for meeting new people, and being in uncharted territory drives me to grow.

How I got into investment banking

My excitement about this industry was first piqued by a radio prank call about Hero and Honda splitting up, and a person being demanded to give back his bike’s Honda parts. It was funny and novel. Years later in college, when I first heard about the world of IB and M&A, I was hooked. The final year of my MBA, one great interaction and selection process, and I joined IndigoEdge to start my Investment Banking journey.

What keeps me up at night

The climate crisis that our generation and the next face, and how indeed the most disruptive solutions need to be scaled enough to repair a hint in the huge dent we’ve caused to the planet.

My advice to entrepreneurs

My inspirations

I’ve never been able to place one person as my inspiration. I am inspired by a multitude of people, and their best qualities, personality, or a certain attitude. I guess, what truly encourages me are the lessons I learn from extraordinary people around me.

What excites me

Meeting founders is the most exciting part of the job for me. Their motivations to start up, the problems they wish to solve, and the depth of market understanding: they are the best kind of crash courses.

Best piece of advice given to me

"A fresh perspective can help you come out of most roadblocks in life. Just step into a 3rd person’s shoes as a first approach to any problem you’re stuck with."

What IndigoEdge is to me

A second family, indeed.

My key focus and interests

Business ideas that challenge the status quo, especially when it comes to industries that have traditionally been informal or fragmented. There is something incredibly jolting about solving an age-old problem with a completely fresh approach. And also, the consumer sector.

What I enjoy doing in my free time

Cooking, catching up with people and spending time with my cat.
